Yang Peiyi Lin Miaoke:7 Year Old Yang Peiyi Ode To The Motherland-Yang Peiyi/Lin Miaoke lip-syncing China’s National Anthem controversy is the talk of the day.
7 year old Yang Peiyi’s real voice was used for the “Ode to the Motherland “at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony last week ,but due to her crooked teeth Lin Miaoke face was seen by the world .
According to reports, Miaoke was asked to lip-synch the song, after the original singer, Yang Peiyi, was told she was not good-looking enough.
China was apparently feeling the pressure to present a flawless Olympics image to the world.
